How to install the indexing key on your sites?

How to install the key on Wordpress?
As we mentioned earlier, the installation of the file is both simple and fast. However, the same procedure may not be applicable with WordPress. If you do not have access to your FTP server, cPanel, or any other server administration interface, know that a plugin exists to allow you to add files with ease. The free version of this plugin is more than adequate to accomplish this task.
Once the file is saved on your server, test its accessibility by inserting https://<your-domain-name>/<the-file>.txt in your browser. If your file appears, you've succeeded, it's properly installed. Now, go back to the Foudroyer site and click on the "Verify" button. And there you have it, it's as simple as that. You can now index as many pages as you want on Bing, Yandex, or Naver.
How to install the key if I'm a developer?
The web landscape is filled with a myriad of configurations and frameworks, which makes me unable to suggest a universal method. However, it is essential that your key be accessible at the root of your website.
For example, let's say your domain name is www.foudroyer.com and your key is 45bg-456doid-jijat578hdh-b7758. In this case, if I navigate to www.foudroyer.com/45bg-456doid-jijat578hdh-b7758.txt, I should be able to see the key.
Then, return to the Foudroyer site and click on "Verify".
If the key is properly installed on your site, you will be able to index your pages on Bing, Yandex, and Naver.
